The actual substance is the story of a captivating idea. Team analysis. Initially without computer. A multitude of questions. What’s wrong? What’s needed? What does the design need to do? What’s already there? First of all we undertake a cooperative mental design and idea generation process. Büro4 treats every client as unique. Everything is made to measure – no solutions are applied across the board. Controversial opinions often arise, either among ourselves or between ourselves and the client. But they are always transparent and goal-focused.
Naturally we work systematically.
And efficiently. What does this mean? Ultimately what counts is the result. And that must work – for the client and for ourselves. We don’t have any time for standardised processes and dogmatic principles. We want a beautiful and coherent end product.
Design is an attitude.
How we design is dictated by the task in hand. We are cooperative service-providers with a passion for design and we always work in a stimulating exchange of ideas with the client. But at the same time we make the highest demands of ourselves. Outstanding results often derive from teamwork because questioning the idea serves to hone it even more. A lot of concrete work and little theory – and in any case, a good product always speaks for itself.
